Dalian in the News

Dalian made international news recently when they hired a cheerleading squad to cheer up stranded passengers at the airport. Unfortunately, flights are delayed frequently in Dalian in the Spring due to fog. We've had friends who's flights were delayed 3 days due to fog. Fortunately, until just a couple of weeks ago, we weren't too badly effected by Dalian's fog. Just a couple of weeks ago after the 24 hours of travel we were stuck in Seoul, South Korea for 36 hours until the fog lifted in Dalian. The joys of traveling in China:)
