Matchy Matchy

A common practice in China, and Korea we learned, is for younger couples to wear matching clothes. I guess so everyone knows you're together in case the two of you walking hand-in-hand wasn't obvious enough. Typically it is the same shirt or coordinated matchy shirts, e.g. a shirt with the same pattern, but tone shirt being pink and the other purple. However, some couples take it to the next level and have matching outfits head to toe, including shoes. The couple below fit into this category:

In addition to couples wearing matching shirts, more recently we've started to see groups of young men and young women wearing matching shirts for no apparent reasons, such as these three young Chinese gentlemen that we saw on a hike recently (and no they aren't part of some special tour group):

I've tried to convince Andrew a time or two to purchase matching t-shirts for the two of us, but unfortunately he won't have it.
