2 Month Check-up

Owen had his two month check-up a couple of weeks late yesterday. His pediatrician said that he is doing extremely well and has already reached a four month milestone by being able to hold his head up while lying on his stomach using his forearms to prop himself up. He weighs 11 lbs 9.5 oz, is 23 5/8 inches long and his head circumference is 15.5 inches. He also had two combination shots (versus four separate shots, which we are thankful for). Of course he screamed when they were given, but he nursed immediately after and then fell right asleep. He was a bit fussy yesterday evening, but that is to be expected. It's really hard to see your little one in pain. He slept really well last night and seems to be doing fine today. Now that he's found his hands he really enjoys clasping them together and putting them in his mouth. Our little boy is getting so big.
